Summer Computer Training Classes

After a long hiatus and after quite the response, we have brought our classes back for the summer season! Did you want to brush up your technical skills? Interested in out-witting your children when it comes to computer problems? All classes are taught by O.S.S.T.F Certified teacher Jamie Vallance, B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Eng.

Introduction to Computers

This course teaches the Windows Operating system, with introduction to basic graphic, word processing, and skills for Windows based computers. Time saving skills such as efficient manipulation of data is addressed by learning how to cut, copy, and paste easily. Participants will learn personal organization of computer files, as well as locating "lost" files and stored information. Software installation and removal are also taught along with basic troubleshooting techniques.

Introduction to Microsoft Office

Learn how to utilize the powerful suite of applications available in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs. Create stunning sales presentations using Microsoft Powerpoint, Design appealing brochures using Microsoft Publisher. You will spend most of the class time learning how to leverage the power Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel give you. Using the tools that Word™ and Excel™ provide, you will create professional-level documents and spreadsheets for your home or business!
